Walmart Store Manager Mike Musumeche joins Philip Harris (City of St. Petersburg’s Neighborhood Partnership Department) and Mayor Bill Foster in accepting recognition for Walmart’s support of CareFest. Carefest is an annual event giving volunteers the opportunity to give back to the community by donating their time and service for the improvement and refurbishing of residential homes, public parks, and non-profit organizations throughout the city.

Orange County Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell and Walmart Market Manager Steve Daniel present representatives from Jobs Partnership with $5,000 from the Walmart Foundation to help with their job training program in Central Florida.
Greg Higgerson, Vice President, Development for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Brent Trotter, President, Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida are joined by Orange County Commissioner Lui Damiani in presenting support from The Walmart Foundation. Walmart contributed $10,000 to Second Harvest to assist with the rising needs of food during the holiday season. Walmart also awarded the Coalition $45,000 through its State Giving Program for their Food Services Program.
